PMS Scholarship 2026 (Post Matric Scholarship) ke liye online application shuru ho chuke hain. Ye ek government scholarship scheme hai jo SC, ST, OBC aur Minority category ke students ko 10th ke baad ki padhai ke liye financial help deti hai. Agar aap 11th, 12th, Graduation, PG ya kisi bhi professional course me padh rahe ho, aur aapki family income ₹2.5 lakh se kam hai, to aap is scholarship ke liye eligible ho sakte ho. Registration 1 July 2026 se shuru ho chuka hai aur last date 30 September 2026 hai. Apply karne ke liye National Scholarship Portal (NSP) par jaana hoga.
Bahut saare students ko ye nahi pata hota ki PMS aur PMSS me fark kya hai. PMS (Post Matric Scholarship) SC/ST/OBC/Minority students ke liye hai, jabki PMSS (Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme) CAPF, Police aur RPF personnel ke wards ke liye hai. Dono alag schemes hain. Yahan hum PMS ke baare me baat kar rahe hain.
PMS ka Full Form hai — Post Matric Scholarship. Ye ek Centrally Sponsored Scheme hai, jise State Governments implement karti hain. Is scheme ka main maksad hai — SC, ST, OBC aur Minority community ke students ko 10th (Matriculation) ke baad ki padhai ke liye financial support dena, taaki koi bhi student paise ki kami ki wajah se padhai nahi chhod sake.
- Kis ke liye: SC, ST, OBC, EBC aur Minority students ke liye.
- Kab se: 10th ke baad kisi bhi course me admission lene par.
- Kitna: Course fees + maintenance allowance (hostel/day scholar ke hisaab se).
- Income Limit: Family income ₹2.5 lakh se zyada nahi honi chahiye.

Ab sabse important hissa — apply karne ka process. Dhyan se follow karo:
- NSP Portal kholo: Browser me scholarships.gov.in kholo.
- OTR generate karo: NSP portal par One Time Registration (OTR) karo. OTR ek 14-digit number hota hai jo hamesha valid rehta hai. Iske bina apply nahi kar sakte.
- Aadhaar Face Authentication karo: OTR ke liye Aadhaar-based face authentication zaroori hai. Face verify hone tak aage nahi badh sakte.
- Consent & Undertaking accept karo: OTR instructions padho, consent terms accept karo, tabhi application form unlock hoga.
- Apply for Scholarship par click karo: OTR credentials se login karo aur “Apply for Scholarship” par click karo.
- Basic details verify karo: Naam, Date of Birth, Gender, Aadhaar details, Category — sab check karo. Koi bhi mismatch ho to reject ho sakta hai.
- Institution select karo: Apne college/university ka AISHE Code se search karo. Institution ka naam sahi se verify karo.
- Application Type select karo: Fresh ya Renewal — jo applicable ho woh select karo.
- Documents upload karo: Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, Marksheet, Freeship Card, Aadhaar, Bank Passbook — sab upload karo.
- Submit karo: Sab details check karne ke baad final submit karo. Printout nikaal ke rakh lo.

Document Format: Sabhi documents PDF, JPG ya JPEG format me hone chahiye, aur size 20 KB se 500 KB ke beech hona chahiye.
PMS Scholarship ke tahat students ko ye benefits milte hain:
- Full Course Fees: Admission fees, tuition fees, library fees, games fees, exam fees — sab cover hote hain.
- Maintenance Allowance: Hostel aur Day Scholar ke hisaab se alag-alag rate par monthly allowance milta hai.
- Book Allowance: Essential books ke liye saal me ₹1,200 tak milta hai.
- Study Tour Charges: Study tour ke liye maximum ₹1,600 per annum.
- Thesis Typing/Printing: Research scholars ke liye ₹1,600 tak.
- Disability Allowance: Differently-abled students ke liye additional allowance.
- Naam ki spelling: Aadhaar aur marksheet ke hisaab se hi naam likho. Mismatch hone par application reject ho jata hai.
- Income Certificate purana: Latest income certificate hi lagao — purana wala reject ho jayega.
- Bank Account: Account student ke apne naam par hona chahiye, parents ke naam par nahi.
- Documents blurry: Saaf aur readable documents hi upload karo.
- Last date ka wait: Last date tak wait mat karo — server slow ho jata hai.
- Duplicate application: Ek se zyada application mat bhejo — sab reject ho jayengi.
